Background
Do you want to submit your vote at the next local election by post, or in person?
Whitsunday Regional Council is asking for your feedback before making a decision about applying for a postal ballot.
The Local Government Elections are expected to take place in March 2020. Should Council wish to apply for a poll to be conducted by postal ballot in a particular area, division or across the entire Whitsunday region, then it must apply by 1 July 2019.
We understand you may prefer a particular method of voting, so if you would like to register your opinion, please complete the Quick Poll below and have your say.

You can also find out more and submit your feedback in person at one of our Public Display stalls during May 2019. Council officers will be attending the following public displays:
Cannonvale, Whitsunday Plaza (outside Woolworths) on Tuesday 7 May, 9am - 12noon
Proserpine, Fresh Fields Shopping Plaza (outside Woolworths) on Tuesday 7 May, 1pm - 4pm
Collinsville (outside the IGA) on Wednesday 8 May, 10am - 2pm
Dingo Beach (outside the Pub) on Thursday 9 May, 1pm - 4pm
Bowen, Centre Point Plaza (outside Woolworths) on Thursday 16 May, 9am - 12noon
Consultation will be open from Wednesday 1 May to Friday 31 May 2019 for a period of four (4) weeks.
