Economic Development Strategy - We want your feedback

We asked for your feedback on a draft Economic Development Strategy to guide for investment and growth in the Whitsunday Region over the next few years. The draft Strategy was developed in consultation with key industry and business groups across the region, and includes a series of actions for Whitsunday Regional Council. 

A range of ideas, concerns and suggestions were put forward during the consultation period and the feedback will be presented to the Council at an upcoming meeting. The feedback suggests there is general support for the strategy, however a range of suggestions were made for consideration. Once the Strategy is finalised and endorsed by Council, it will be published on our website.
