Seeing as we have so many local food trucks in the area, it would be a great tourist idea to open something similar to Eat Street in Brisbane or Miami Marketta in Gold Coast.

I am led to believe the the underground infrastructure is about 30 years out of date. This needs serious planning and upgrading. Also, underground power should already be in place for a cyclone prone area.

The old wanders is an immediate eyesore when entering town. Also so many of the building in the main street look extremely rundown. The council should be able to ensure those who own the buildings and land in town need to reinvest money into the appearance. Some of those building are own by people who haven't lived in the town for many years and simply collect the rent and don't upgrade the external aesthetics for their tenants. Unsightly properties should not be ok
