We undertook consultation on the Galbraith Park Land Management Planlate 2023 and received great feedback from the community. The Plan included a proposal for a community hub, including library and customer service centre. Following consultation on the Plan, we have undertaken various amendments to the Plan to reflect community concerns, including building design guidance to retain greenspace, various actions to address land management issues and identification of future park Masterplanning process.
The Plan was endorsed by Council on 24 January and will now be sent to the State Government for approval. Subject to State Government approval, we will further liaise with the community to help program future Library events, community group meeting opportunities, construction management and Galbraith Park Masterplanning.
