Whitsunday Water proudly provides essential water and sewerage services to the communities of Proserpine, Airlie Beach/Cannonvale, Bowen, Collinsville and the surrounding Whitsunday region. As custodians of this critical infrastructure, we understand that access to safe, reliable water and effective wastewater management underpins the health, wellbeing and prosperity of every household and business we serve.

These Customer Service Standards set out — in clear, accessible terms — what you can expect from us as your service provider, the responsibilities we share as partners in delivering these essential services, and how we will measure, monitor and report our performance over the next five years, through to 2031.

For the first time, this document brings together our water supply, sewerage, and plumbing and trade waste services within a single, integrated framework — reflecting our recent organisational restructure and our commitment to providing customers with one clear, consistent standard across all regulated services.

These Standards embody our enduring commitments to provide:

• Safe drinking water that consistently meets national health and quality guidelines

• Reliable, resilient services with minimal disruption to our customers

• Transparent, proactive communication, particularly during planned or unplanned outages

• Fair, timely and accountable complaint handling

They also reinforce the long-term financial sustainability of our region’s water and sewerage infrastructure, ensuring that today’s investments continue to deliver value for future generations of Whitsunday residents.
