Shaping Airlie Beach's future
Consultation has concluded
Whitsunday Regional Council has received feedback from residents in regards to the Airlie Beach Foreshore Reserves Land Management Plan (LMP) and the Greater Airlie Beach Masterplan.
We asked residents about 5 proposals within foreshore reserves in the LMP and 12 Masterplan projects.
The LMP proposals include re-alignments of reserve boundaries, Foreshore Activation Strategy to allow outdoor dining in the Foreshore, leasing the cinema screen and hardstand area for food vans. Masterplan projects included a range of tourism, beautification and connectivity improvements.
The consultation was open between 1 November 2021 and 14 January 2022. Residents submitted responses online via Your Say Whitsunday, email and in person at our Customer Service Centres.
