AECOM is finalisng the design for Council based on preliminary concepts developed over the last year. These concepts and the detailed design have taken into account the feedback received during the consultation period in late 2017.

It is expected the construction works will begin in 2019 and the construction tender has recently closed.

Community Consultation 2017

In 2017, Council asked what the community feels is important for the future of Shute Harbour.

By getting input from the community, Council can future-proof the area and budget appropriately for any upcoming developments at Shute Harbour.

Council will consider all ideas when planning for the restoration works to rebuild the terminal building, jetties and pontoons, and planning for future developments.
