We asked for feedback on the future of the Wilsons Beach Swimming Enclosure, damaged by Tropical Cyclone Debbie.

A range of ideas, concerns and suggestions were put forward during the consultation period. The feedback will be presented to the Council at an upcoming meeting. The feedback suggests there is support for re-building the swimming enclosure, despite the potential cost of $800k historically quoted. Council will consider the community feedback at an upcoming meeting and determine whether to go out for another tender to re-build the swimming enclosure.
