How can I have my say online?
If this is your first visit to Your Say Whitsunday, then simply click on the Register button and follow the prompts. You'll need to create a username and password, and provide a valid email address.
If you have previously participated, click on the Sign In button and enter your username and password.
Why should I sign up?
By signing up to Your Say Whitsunday, you will be able to participate in the online discussions and make full use of the interactive feature of this site.
You'll also receive regular updates on how your feedback is helping Council make important decisions regarding the future of the Whitsunday Region. You can unsubscribe from email updates at any time.
What happens to my data?
When you register you can be assured that all personal information will remain confidential and is not disclosed to a third party. Contact information is only used for the purposes of that consultation process or to notify residents of other similar consultations they may be interested in.
What happens to my feedback?
All comments, ideas and feedback are collated and used to inform Council decision-making processes for the development of strategies, planning policies and proposals, programmes and activities.
The feedback we receive online is used in conjunction with feedback we receive from other consultation exercises, including workshops, drop-in information sessions and submissions.
How are online sessions moderated?
Every comment is valued for its content. Your Say Whitsunday allows everyone to have a say and it brings out many different ideas and viewpoints. In order to play a positive part in the discussion and to give your views maximum impact, we encourage you to follow the etiquette guide.
All moderation is carried out by Bang the Table and is independent to Whitsunday Regional Council. The moderators do not edit or alter any comments, and will only remove comments deemed to be significantly off-topic, offensive or malicious.
