Online Nomination Form

Please complete this short form to nominate someone for an award. Refer to the Conditions of Entry below. 

Conditions of Entry

1. Nominees must be a resident of the Whitsunday Region at the time of the nomination.

2. Nominations will not be accepted if the individual or group has won an award the previous year.

3. All nominations must be received on the official nomination form. Additional information can be supplied.

4. Contact details of nominators may be forwarded on to local media.

5. Citizen of the Year nominees must be over 26 years of age as at January 26, 2024.

6. Young Citizen of the Year nominees must be aged 16-25 years as at January 26, 2024.

7. A person who is deemed to have acted in a manner contrary to Council values will not be eligible.
