Consultation has concluded

Whitsunday Regional Council are looking for expressions of interest from community and non-for-profit groups to manage and run the Bowen markets at Hansen Park, Horseshoe Bay Road.

Markets currently take place every Sunday from 6am – 12pm and attract approximately 30 marketeers.

The successful community group will need to manage all aspects of the markets including marketeer bookings, fees and licencing.

Please register your interest via the short survey below. Please note the application is an expression of interest only.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Not for profit organisation with an ABN,
  • Public Liability Insurance of up to $20,000,000
  • Experience in operating markets or similar activity is desired, and
  • Resources/staff available to assist etc.
