Bowen Masterplan adopted by Council

All feedback was considered while we finalised the Bowen Masterplan, with the final version adopted at the Council Meeting on 28 July 2021.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent consultation on a draft Masterplan for Bowen. The Masterplan aims to improve Bowen for locals by supporting community infrastructure projects that will enhance liveability and improve Bowen for residents and visitors.

A range of ideas and suggestions were provided by residents which is summarised in our Consultation Summary below. A clear concern raised during consultation was the need for more incentives for economic growth, which will be considered in our updated Economic Development Strategy.
