This time of year is for joy and cheer, with homes and shopfronts all across the Whitsunday Region getting into the spirit for the holiday season.

Competition winner announced!

We’re excited to announce that the winner of the ‘Christmas Lights, Our Whitsunday Way’ competition is Proserpine resident, Ron McCall!

Ron has been displaying Christmas lights at his house for 28 years and prior to COVID-19 hosted annual Christmas Carols on his driveway, with all funds raised donated to the Proserpine Citizens’ Band.

It’s not too late to check out our map below to find out where some of the best Christmas lights within the region are located, including Ron’s display on Atkinson Street in Proserpine.
