Collinsville Transfer Station Opening Hours Review

We asked for feedback on our review of Collinsville Transfer Station opening hours to:

• Amend facility operating hours, to open one hour later, with proposed opening hours between 8:00am – 12:30pm ; 1:00pm - 18:00pm, and
• Daily closure of the facility between the hours of 12:30 and 13:00 to allow for contractor statutory rest breaks, in accordance with Workplace, Health and Safety requirements.

Feedback helped us to understand potential impacts of a change to opening hours and ideas for further improvements to our waste service in Collinsville.

Presently, no change is proposed to the Collinsville Transfer Station opening hours. The feedback will be considered in the Whitsunday Waste Strategy that is currently under development.
