We asked for feedback on proposed amendments to Local Law No.1 (Administration) 2014 & Subordinate Local Law No.1 (Administration) 2014 to include the operation of Short-term accommodation as a Prescribed Activity.
A range of ideas, concerns and suggestions were put forward during the consultation period. The feedback will be presented to the Council at an upcoming meeting. The feedback suggests there is support for the Local Law amendment to require Short-term accommodation within a dwelling to acquire a licence to operate. Various suggestions were also received outlining how the licencing system could operate. Council will consider the community feedback at an upcoming meeting and determine whether to adopt the Local Law Amendment.
