More services for youth in Collinsville.

To whom it may concern, Collinsville is in desperate need for sufficient activities and services for youth. Whilst upgrading assets within the community is important, it is also vital that we are giving the greatest opportunity to the community of Collinsville. Unfortunately, Collinsville does suffer from the tyranny of distance. In some cases it is just too far for residents to obtain services that are located in Proserpine and Bowen. I hope the council can look to improve these services and address any disparity between the different communities within the WRC. Please see the following recommendations: -More funding to the current swim club. -More funding into after school sports (soccer and football). -Expanding library services (open more often with more services). -Introducing services that focus on computer literacy. -More mental health awareness in the community. Whilst improved facilities in Collinsville will always be welcome, we should also look at how to improve the quality of life. Thank you for your time, I look forward to future correspondence.
